Midnight Records

In the late spring of 2010 a publication named BANANAS MAGAZINE debuted with its first issue dedicated to the ongoing garage rock scene which is still happening world wide. The issue featured the first of a two part story on the history of Midnight Records and its founder JD Martignon. Along with Cheepskates guitarist David John Herrera many others from the 80s garage scene in NYC were interviewed for the article and the editors of Bananas have graciously allowed CheepskatesMovie.com to post the story in its entirety and as it appeared in the magazine.
